The International Association of IATA Retirees (IAIR) does not collect any information from visitors to its web site nor do we use or send cookies (a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characterises) to your computer in order to track your viewing activities while at our site.
IAIR maintains a PC database containing certain information elements of IAIR members of the Canadian and International pension funds.  The officers of IAIR do not warrant either the completeness or accuracy of the information maintained in the IAIR database.
Neither IAIR, as a corporate entity, nor IAIR officers sell or distribute the information in the database to any organization.  Some data elements are provided to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), People, Performance and Development Department (PPD) and selected departments of Normandin Beaudry, Actuaires conseil inc., RBC Investor and Treasury Services and ManuLife Financial (hereafter collectively referred to as “the organizations”). These organizations have direct involvement in the IATA Canadian and International pension funds.  Selected elements of retiree’s records are provided to the organizations for the purpose of distributing relevant material and information to retirees.
IAIR has no control over the storage and security of the retiree information once it has been transferred into the possession of the organization and does not warrant or seek warranty of the safety and security of the retiree information. With each transfer of retiree’s information, the receiving organization is informed that neither it nor its employees may sell, give away or otherwise distribute any part of the retiree information to a third party.

The Section entitled “Income Tax Deductions” on this web site in the “Health Care Group” is general information only and is not presented as tax advice, guidance, instructions or interpretation of the respective tax laws and/or regulations of Canada or the province of Quebec. Part of the information with respect to medical expense deductions in the aforementioned section of the IAIR web site, is a summary of the information found on the reverse of the IATA Personalized Pension Statement and part is based in information obtained from a private tax accounting service.  Retirees are reminded that the information given on the IAIR web site is for preparing personal Canadian and Québec income tax returns only.
