IAIR Version 8.07 - 13 July 2017

IAIR is involved in a number of activities for its Members: Website, Annual newsletters, ID card processing, Membership support, Medical Manulife escalation support, Escalation with IATA, Manulife and Normandin Beaudry if any issues were not resolved directly, Information and updates on Pension issues, CFP, an annual AGM where people are briefed on the Pension Plan and other topics,  In order to provide these services to Members, there are external costs and therefore a small annual membership fee of $20 is charged to defer these costs.  All retirees are encouraged to pay this small membership fee so that these activities can continue.

Paying Membership Dues

By clickingBuy Now, you can pay in an entirely secure fashion with your credit card. You don’t need to have a PayPal account to use the procedure we have set up. (If you have already a PayPal account other options are available that will be presented to you when you click “Buy Now”). A soon as payment is completed our Treasurer receives a notice from PayPal that the member has paid whatever amount has been selected, i.e. a one, two or three year subscription. The amount (minus a handling fee) is automatically transferred by PayPal to IAIR’s bank account.and credited by IAIR to the member’s account. A receipt is  sent by email  to the member by PayPal.

Payment Options

The easiest way for members to pay their annual dues is via automatic debit. Following an agreement with RBC, it is now possible for both Canadian and International Plan members to have annual dues deducted from the February pension payment.  If you are not already signed up with automatic debit and would like to avail yourself of this easy payment option, please advise the Treasurer.

OR via PayPal.
